Learning to read japanese is no picnic.. in fact, some would argue that it’s the world’s toughest writing system to learn. it even beats out mandarin chinese, due to kanji mixing and matching with kana. but, hey — we’re modern kids armed with awesome iphone apps.. Japanese hub for windows phone is the best app for learning japanese that i've seen. it had lessons with culture notes, flashcards, vocabulary, kanji, quizzes, and a dictionary. i had to buy 4 apps on ios for the same functionality.. Both human japanese and japanese sensei are popular apps that contain lessons as well as quizzes and learning activities. for more dictionary options for ios, try midori . skritter is an excellent kanji learning tool that improves your writing as well as your reading ability..
Memrise. this app contains a selection of japanese courses, especially for practicing reading and writing of hiragana and katakana.it is a good app for beginner japanese learners. users can set the learning and sound settings (how many words per learning session and per reviewing session).. Very impressed with this app. best way to learn japanese and it's free. i love learning languages but this delightful app has made it extra fun to learn a language. can't wait to finally finish the guide and proudly say i can (somewhat) speak 5 languages. there's an issue i encountered though.. *** one of the best educational apps of the year - apple (itunes rewind) *** learning japanese can be intimidating, but we make it easy with 8 addictive games designed to build essential reading, writing & conversation skills..
