I can tell you a bit about studying mandarin. i've been learning standard mandarin for 5 years at a relatively leisurely pace and passed hsk 5 last year (there are 6 levels).. In this first lesson, you will learn to recognize some hiragana characters. in the second lesson, you will learn to recognize some kanji, which are chinese characters that represent entire words. and then, in the third lesson, you will learn how to make your first sentences in japanese.. The absence of fears made learning much easier. if i thought, "i'd like to learn japanese," i no longer had a knee jerk fear of failure so it was easier to take on new projects. i suddenly felt.
Other languages do not have the poetic brevity of chinese to express so much, in so few words. in the thirteenth century, the japanese monk nichiren figured out how ordinary people could take advantage of this long-sought wisdom, and added the word nam. that is why it is spoken in the japanese pronunciation of the chinese words.. The problem isn't "learning java" in 10 weeks, because i think that by the time 10 weeks is up, you'll be able to program some things and have an idea of what to do to solve some simple things. but that won't make you ready for a j2me fast track course..
